- 2Grease a loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
- 3In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- 4Mix well until dry ingredients are evenly distributed.
- 5Pour in the beer and stir until just combined; do not overmix.
- 6Fold in garlic powder, cheddar cheese, chives, and onion powder gently.
- 7Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- 8Melt butter and pour it over the top of the batter.
- 9Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- 10Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
