Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
Melt butter in a small saucepan and add minced garlic; sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
In a bowl, combine crab meat, lemon juice, dill, salt, pepper, and mayonnaise; mix well.
Slice bread rolls open, being careful not to cut all the way through.
Spread the garlic butter mixture inside the rolls.
Fill the rolls generously with the crab mixture.
Top with sliced cucumbers, green onions, and lettuce.
Close the rolls and brush the outside with remaining garlic butter.
Grill the rolls, seam side down, until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
Flip and grill the other side for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Remove from grill and serve warm, garnished with capers if desired.
