1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder

Soak 1 cup semolina in water for 5 minutes.

Take slightly more than 1 cup of sweet corn, wash and peel them.

Grind the sweet corn in a mixer until fine.

Add the ground sweet corn paste to the soaked semolina.

Mix well until the semolina has absorbed the water and is fluffy.

Add 1 tablespoon ginger garlic chili paste to the mixture.

Add 1 finely chopped onion to the mixture.

Season with salt to taste.

Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder, and 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder.

Mix all the ingredients well to form a batter.

Heat an appam pan and grease it with a little oil.

Once the oil is hot, pour a small amount of batter into each section of the pan.

Cover the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.

After 2-3 minutes, flip the appams to cook the other side.

Continue flipping occasionally to ensure even cooking on both sides.

Once cooked, remove the appams from the pan and repeat with the remaining batter.
