Roast 1 cup of white sesame seeds on low heat until lightly browned, stirring continuously.

Let the roasted sesame seeds cool and then grind them into a fine powder.

In a kadhai, heat about 1/2 cup of ghee.

Add 1 cup of semolina to the ghee and roast on low heat until it turns golden brown and fragrant.

Add the ground sesame seeds to the roasted semolina and continue to roast for another 5-7 minutes on low heat.

Pour in 1 liter of milk and mix well to avoid lumps.

Add approximately 1 cup of sugar to the mixture and stir continuously.

Cook until the mixture thickens and the oil starts to separate, about 10-12 minutes.

Add chopped dry fruits (cashews, pistachios, walnuts) to the halwa and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
