In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the margarine mixture, mixing until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
Brush the top with egg yolk and sprinkle with almond slices and raisins before serving.
