4 large eggs

1 and 1/3 cup whole milk

Mix 3/4 cup granulated sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon in a medium bowl and set aside for cinnamon sugar.

Whip 4 large eggs in a medium bowl until well beaten.

Add 1 and 1/3 cup whole milk, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon granulated sugar to the eggs and mix well, then set aside.

Heat canola oil in a pot to approximately 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Slice the sourdough bread into four 3-inch thick slices.

Cut a pocket in each slice of bread to stuff with banana.

Stuff each slice with banana, then dip the stuffed bread into the egg batter, covering both sides and removing excess batter.

Carefully place the dipped bread into the hot oil and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, flipping after a couple of minutes if desired.

Once cooked, remove from oil and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
