Stuff each slice of bread with banana slices.

Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.

Heat butter and oil in a skillet over medium heat until melted.

Dip each stuffed bread slice into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.

Place the coated bread slices in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Remove the toast from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Serve warm with maple syrup, whipped cream, and chopped nuts.
