Instructions
- 1Prepare a baking tray by greasing it with ghee.
- 2In a pan, combine grated coconut and sugar over low heat.
- 3Stir continuously until the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- 4Add milk and ghee to the mixture, stirring well to combine.
- 5Incorporate besan gradually while stirring to avoid lumps.
- 6Cook the mixture until it leaves the sides of the pan, about 10-12 minutes.
- 7Add cardamom powder and mix well for flavor.
- 8Pour the mixture into the prepared tray and spread evenly.
- 9Sprinkle chopped nuts on top and press gently to adhere.
- 10Let it cool completely at room temperature.
- 11Once set, cut into squares or desired shapes.
- 12Serve as a sweet snack or dessert.

- ●1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Instructions
- 1Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat.
- 2Add besan to the pan and roast it, stirring continuously until it turns golden brown and aromatic (about 10-15 minutes).
- 3In a separate saucepan, combine sugar and milk. Heat until the sugar dissolves completely.
- 4Once the besan is roasted, pour the sugar mixture into the pan with besan and mix well.
- 5Add cardamom powder and saffron strands (if using) to the mixture and stir until well combined.
- 6Continue to cook the mixture on low heat until it thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan (about 5-7 minutes).
- 7Remove the pan from heat and add chopped nuts, mixing them in thoroughly.
- 8Grease a flat plate or tray with ghee and pour the mixture onto it, spreading it evenly.
- 9Allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes, then cut it into squares or diamond shapes.
- 10Let it cool completely before serving.
