1

Add 2 tablespoons cornflour to a bowl.

2

Add 0.5 cup cold milk to the cornflour.

3

Add 1 teaspoon vanilla essence and mix well until there are no lumps.

4

Set the cornflour mixture aside.

5

In another bowl, add 1 cup fresh cream.

6

Add 2 tablespoons powdered sugar to the cream.

7

Mix the cream and sugar using a hand whisk for 4-5 minutes until fluffy.

8

Set the mixed cream in the fridge for a while.

9

In a pan, add 0.5 liter full cream milk and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

10

Once boiling, reduce the flame to low and add 3-4 tablespoons sugar, adjusting to taste.

11

Stir well and cook for 0.5 to 1 minute on low flame.

12

Gradually add the cornflour mixture to the boiling milk while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

Place 4 slices of bread in the dish, allowing them to soak in the custard.

18

Spread half of the custard mixture over the bread slices.

19

Add a layer of the whipped cream over the custard.

20

Arrange the remaining 4 slices of bread on top.

21
