Gather ingredients: 16 slices of light sliced bread, 1.5 cups double cream, strawberries, raspberries, fresh cherries (pitted), 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, 1 cup evaporated milk, 2 cups whole milk, 4 eggs, 1 tin sweetened condensed milk, and original Irish Cream.

Change gloves before handling ingredients.

Break the bread into small bits.

Soak the bread overnight in milk and wet ingredients if desired.

Add the Irish Cream first to avoid making the mixture too liquidy.

Mix in the evaporated milk, whole milk, butter, eggs, and Irish Cream with the bread.

Add the cherries and whole raspberries into the mixture.

Remove leaves and stems from strawberries, adding them whole to the mixture after washing.
