3 tbsp sour yogurt
1/4 cup fried onion
2 tbsp mustard oil
1/4 cup onion paste
1/4 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/4 tsp cumin powder
salt as needed
2 tbsp ghee
1 tsp caraway seeds
1 bayleaf
1/4 cup fried onion
3 cup polau rice
6 cup hot water
5-6 green chilli

Marinate the ilish fish with turmeric, chilli powder, salt, sour yogurt, and fried onion.

In a pan, heat mustard oil and add onion paste, ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, and salt as needed.

Prepare the ilish polau by heating ghee, adding caraway seeds, bayleaf, fried onion, polau rice, and hot water along with green chillies.
