1

Start with 2 kg of chicken for the curry.

2

Heat oil in a pan and sauté chopped onions until golden brown.

3

Turn off the heat once onions are golden to prevent burning.

4

Transfer the browned onions to a grinder.

5

Add 2 large peeled tomatoes to the grinder with the onions.

6

Include 1 tablespoon of ginger and 1 tablespoon of garlic in the grinder.

7

Grind the mixture until smooth.

8

Add 2 pieces of cinnamon to the mixture.

9

Add 1 tablespoon of red chili powder, adjusting to taste.

10

Roast the spices until fragrant, then add a little water to prevent burning.

11

Add 1 tablespoon of black pepper to the mixture.

12

Mix the spices well with the chicken in the pan.

13

Add a little water to help combine the spices with the chicken.

14

Cover the pan and cook on medium to low heat for 15 to 20 minutes.

15

After 10 minutes, check the chicken and see how much water it has released.

16

After 20 minutes, check the curry; it should be ready.

17

Add 1 tablespoon of garam masala to the curry and mix well for one minute.

18

Prepare parathas by kneading flour and rolling it out into small discs.

19

Apply ghee on the rolled parathas and fold them to create layers.

20

Roll out the folded parathas again and cook them on a hot tava until golden brown on both sides.

21

Serve the chicken curry with the parathas.
