Calentar media taza de leche en el microondas por aproximadamente 35 segundos hasta que esté tibia.
Agregar 2 o 3 cucharaditas de azúcar a la leche tibia.
Añadir 2 cucharaditas de levadura a la leche con azúcar y mezclar para hacer un pre fermento.
En un tazón de batidora, colocar 500 gramos de harina y una pizca de sal.
Agregar el resto del azúcar a la mezcla de leche y levadura.
Incorporar un poco de colorante amarillo a la mezcla.
Precalentar el horno a 350 grados Fahrenheit (180 grados Celsius).
Agregar 115 gramos de mantequilla a temperatura ambiente (no derretida) a la mezcla.
Mezclar todos los ingredientes hasta formar una masa.
Agregar 1 yema de huevo y 1 cucharadita de vainilla a la mezcla y continuar mezclando.
Amasar la mezcla hasta obtener una bola de masa homogénea.
