Use dry cassava instead of fresh cassava for the fufu.

Grind the dry cassava in a portion meal until fine.

Add the ground cassava to a pot and pour in water little by little.

Cover the pot and let it cook, ensuring to add enough water to cook the cassava properly.

Lower the heat and cover the pot to allow the cassava to cook thoroughly.

After about five to six minutes, check the consistency of the cassava; it should be brown.

Mix the cooked cassava together until well combined.

Transfer the fufu to a plate for serving.
