Cultural Context

Korean Goat Stew, or Yangnyeom Gogi Jjigae, has roots in traditional Korean cuisine, where stews are a staple during colder months. This hearty dish showcases the rich flavors of goat meat, often enjoyed in family gatherings. While less common than beef or chicken stews, goat stew is cherished for its unique taste and is often paired with spicy side dishes.
