2.5 medium onions (200 gms)
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
7-8 garlic cloves
3 medium tomatoes
4-5 green chillies
15-20 curry leaves
2 sprigs mint leaves
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp kasuri methi
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup oil (7 tbsp)
150 ml water

Slice the onions & tomatoes and peel the garlic cloves.

Cut the green chillies into 1 inch pieces and chop the coriander leaves.

Take out the curry leaves and the mint leaves.

Take a pressure cooker and heat oil.

Add the chicken pieces with bones and fry for 1-2 mins on high heat until the chicken turns white.

Add the sliced onions, garlic cloves, ginger garlic paste, and green chillies; stir on high heat for 1-2 mins.

Add the sliced tomatoes, all the spice powders, curry leaves, and mint leaves.

Cook on high heat for 3 mins until slightly fried and oil separates.

Add the salt and cook on medium heat for another 5 mins.

Add the water and mix well.

Pressure cook on high heat until the 1st whistle, then on medium heat for 2 more whistles (around 12 mins).

Once pressure is released, garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
