Start by chopping boneless beef into small pieces for easier grinding.
Take 1 large onion, finely chop it, and squeeze out excess water until it's dry.
Add the chopped onion to the ground beef.
Include 2 chopped green chilies.
Add 1/4 cup of bread crumbs. If you don't have bread crumbs, you can use 2 slices of bread.
Season the mixture with salt, turmeric, coriander powder, and red chili powder.
Mix everything together until it is finely combined.
Shape the mixture into small cylindrical kofta, ensuring they are not too thick to avoid breaking.
Add 1 egg to the mixture to help bind it together.
Heat oil in a pan over low flame and fry the kofta for 5-6 minutes on each side until cooked through.
Remove the kofta from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add 1/4 cup of oil and heat it until slightly warm.
Add 1 finely chopped onion and sauté until light brown.
Stir in 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste and cook until fragrant.
Add the tomato paste made from 3 tomatoes and cook until the water evaporates and the mixture thickens.
Season the gravy with 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, salt, and red chili powder to taste.
Pour in 1 cup of water and mix well, bringing it to a simmer.
Add the fried kofta back into the gravy and mix gently.
Let it cook for 5-7 minutes on low flame to allow the flavors to meld together.
Stir in yogurt to thicken the gravy further, and if needed, add more water for desired consistency.
Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes on low flame to ensure the yogurt is well incorporated and the gravy is ready.
