Stir-Fry Beef

1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
2 green onions, chopped

In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the marinated beef to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until browned, then remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.

Return the beef to the skillet and stir everything together. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.

Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
