Instructions
- 1Peel and grate sweet potatoes into a large bowl.
- 2Mix grated sweet potatoes with flour, coconut milk, sugar, salt, and spices until well combined.
- 3Prepare banana leaves by softening them over heat or boiling briefly.
- 4Spoon the mixture onto banana leaves and fold them into parcels.
- 5Place the parcels in a steamer basket over boiling water.
- 6Steam the ducana for about 45-60 minutes until firm and cooked through.
- 7Remove from the steamer and let cool slightly before serving.
