Prepare a frying pan by adding enough oil to cover the bottom, but not deep-frying the bakes.

Fry the bakes until they are golden brown on one side, then flip them over to cook the other side.
Once cooked, remove the bakes from the oil and place them on parchment paper or paper towels to absorb excess grease.
