Prepare a pressure cooker without water and place the guavas inside.

Cover the cooker with a lid and cook for a whistle.

Once cooled, remove the lid and let the guavas cool down.

Cut the guavas in half and remove all the seeds.

Place the seedless guava pulp into a mixer without adding water and blend into a smooth paste.

Strain the guava paste through a sieve.

Measure the guava paste and take an equal amount of sugar (2 cups).

Mix the guava paste and sugar together in a pan.

Place the pan on low heat and stir continuously to prevent sticking.

Add 1 tablespoon of butter to give a nice shine to the mixture.

Add a few drops of fruit color to the mixture.

Once the mixture thickens, turn off the heat and prepare a tray with butter paper.

Pour the thickened guava mixture into the tray and spread evenly.

Top with almond slices and let it set for 4-5 hours.
