Krumkake Recipe Video

Melt butter and let it cool slightly.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add melted butter and vanilla extract to the egg mixture and mix until combined.

Sift together flour and baking powder, then gradually fold into the wet ingredients until smooth.

Preheat the krumkake iron over medium heat until hot.

Grease the iron lightly with butter.

Pour a small amount of batter into the center of the iron and close it.

Cook for 30-60 seconds until golden brown.

Remove the cooked krumkake and immediately shape it around a cone or rolling pin.

Repeat the process with the remaining batter, greasing the iron as needed.

Allow the krumkake to cool completely on a wire rack.

Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
