1

Dice a large white onion.

2

Peel and dice a roma tomato by dropping it into boiling water for a couple of minutes until the skin starts to separate.

3

Chop the garlic.

4

Sauté the diced onion and garlic in a hot pan with butter until the onion is almost translucent.

5

Remove the tomato from the boiling water, peel it, and dice it up.

6

Crumble the ground beef into small pieces and cook it in the pan until browned, then drain excess fat.

7

Add the diced tomato to the cooked ground beef and cover the pan to soften the tomato with residual heat.

8

After a couple of minutes, add the juice of one and a half lemons and one tablespoon of tahini to the meat mixture, along with salt, pepper, and a little bit of pine nuts, and mix well.

9

Grease a baking dish, preferably a glass or light non-stick one, to prevent burning.

10

Take flaky layer biscuits and split them in half to create layers.

11

Place the meat mixture into the center of each biscuit half and fold them over.

12

Place the filled biscuits in the greased baking dish and pop them in the oven.

13

Bake for about 8 to 10 minutes, watching closely until they start to brown.

14

Once golden-brown, sprinkle with parsley for color before serving.
