salt to taste
cinnamon stick
dried black lemon
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
4 medium tomatoes
1 pc carrot
1 pc potato
2 pcs zucchini
3 tbsp tomato paste
green chillies

Mix ground beef/lamb, finely chopped onion, chopped garlic, chopped coriander leaves, arabic mix spice, ground black pepper, ground black lemon, paprika powder, chilli flakes/powder, salt, cumin powder, and coriander powder in a bowl.

Shape the mixture into small balls or patties.

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat until shimmering.

Add the kofta balls to the pot and brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the kofta and set aside on a plate.

In the same pot, add chopped tomatoes, green bell pepper, carrot, potato, and zucchini; sauté for 5 minutes.

Add tomato paste, water, and dried black lemon to the pot.

Return the kofta to the pot and bring to a simmer.

Cover and cook on low heat until vegetables are tender and flavors meld.
