Rice - 3 Cups (samba rice)
Flattened Rice (POHA) - 1 Cup
Coconut grated - 1 Cup
Roasted Chana Dhal - 3 Tbsp.
Ginger - Small piece
Green Chilies - 3 to 4
Water
Salt - 1/4 Tsp
Oil - 2 Tbsp
Mustard Seeds - 1/4 Tsp
Curry Leaves - A Spring
Dried Red Chilies - 2
Oil - 1 Tbsp
Shallots - 1/4 Tsp
Garlic - 1/4 Cup and a little more
Red Dried Chilies - 10 To 12
Tamarind Juice - 1 Tbsp
Oil - 2 Tbsp
Mustard Seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Curry Leaves - A Spring

Soak Urad dhal and rice separately in water for a few hours.

Grind the soaked Urad dhal into a smooth paste.

Grind the soaked rice into a slightly coarse batter.

Combine the two batters and let it ferment for a few hours.

Heat a pan and pour a ladle of batter to make a dosa.

Cook until crispy and golden brown on both sides.
