Heat 1/2 cup ghee in a pan.
Add 2 cups whole wheat flour and mix well.
Add 5-6 tablespoons of milk and mix until crumbly.
Let the mixture sit for 20-25 minutes to rise.
In another pan, heat remaining ghee and fry dry fruits (cashews, almonds, walnuts) until golden brown.
Remove the dry fruits and set aside.
In the same pan, fry 2 cups of puffed lotus seeds until crispy.
In the same ghee, add 1/2 cup gond and fry until puffed up.
In a separate bowl, mix the flour mixture and add the fried gond, dry fruits, and 1/2 cup grated coconut.
Add 2 tablespoons of poppy seeds and mix well.
Melt 1.5 cups of jaggery with a little water and add it to the mixture.
Add 1 tablespoon of dry ginger powder, 1 tablespoon of nutmeg, and 1 tablespoon of cardamom powder and mix thoroughly.
Form the mixture into small balls (laddoos) while warm.
