1/2kg boneless chicken
1tbs ginger garlic paste
3tbs thick yogurt
juice of one lemon
1tbs green chilli paste
1tsp salt or to taste
1tsp coriander powder
1/4tsp turmeric
1tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1/2tsp roasted cumin powder
1/2tsp whole spice powder (garam masala)
1tsp tikka masala
2-3 tbs fresh chopped coriander
coal for smoke
wooden skewers as required

Cut the boneless chicken into cubes.

In a bowl, combine ginger garlic paste, thick yogurt, lemon juice, green chilli paste, salt, coriander powder, turmeric, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, roasted cumin powder, whole spice powder, tikka masala, and fresh chopped coriander to make a marinade.

Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Thread the marinated chicken onto wooden skewers.

Heat oil in a grill pan or on a grill, and place the skewers on it.

Cook the chicken skewers until they are fully cooked and have a nice char, basting with oil as needed.

For added flavor, place coal on the grill to create smoke and cover briefly to infuse the chicken with smoky flavor.
