Tuna Noodle Casserole

3 7 oz cans of tuna
1/2 cup of onion
2 10 oz cans of cream of mushroom soup
12 oz of evaporated milk
3 cups of frozen petite peas
12 oz of egg noodles
4 tbsp of breadcrumbs
2 tbsp of butter
1 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
2 tsp of black pepper
2 1/2 tsp of salt

Preheat your oven to 350°F.

Add water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt to a large pot and bring to a boil.

Add the egg noodles to the boiling water and cook for 9 minutes.

After 9 minutes, turn off the heat and drain the water from the noodles.

In a baking dish, combine the cooked noodles, frozen peas, and cream of mushroom soup.

Add the tuna and chopped onions to the baking dish.

Season the mixture with black pepper, remaining 2 teaspoons of salt, and garlic powder.

Pour in the evaporated milk and mix until well combined.

Cover the baking dish with foil and transfer it to the preheated oven.

Bake for 30 minutes.

In a small bowl, combine the butter and breadcrumbs and mix until well combined.

After 30 minutes, remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle with the breadcrumb mixture.

Increase the oven temperature to 400°F and return the casserole to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
