TUNA NOODLE CASSEROLE!! Best Recipe Ever!

Sauté 1 medium onion in 1.5 tablespoons of butter for 2-3 minutes until translucent.

Add 1 teaspoon of minced garlic, 3 tablespoons of flour, and stir well.

Pour in 2 cups of chicken broth and 1 cup of whole milk, stirring to combine.

Increase heat to medium-high and cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens, stirring frequently.

Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 0.5 teaspoon of pepper to the sauce and stir.

Incorporate 3 cans of drained tuna and 2 cups of frozen mixed vegetables into the sauce, stirring to combine.

Cook 12 oz of egg noodles according to package instructions, then add them to the mixture and stir well.

Add approximately 1.5 cups of cheddar cheese to the mixture and stir until combined.

Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 casserole dish, spreading it evenly.

Top with an additional 0.75 cup of cheddar cheese.

In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of Italian breadcrumbs with 3 tablespoons of melted butter until crumbly.

Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the casserole for a crunchy topping.

Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 350°F.
