Soak 200 grams split black lentil and 50 grams mung bean overnight.

Wash the soaked lentils thoroughly until most of the black skins are removed.

Grind the lentils in a blender with a small amount of water until a thick paste is formed.

Transfer the lentil paste into a bowl and mix it well.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of ginger paste and 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric to the lentil mixture and mix nicely.

Cover the mixture and let it sit aside for 10 minutes.

Heat a thick pan over medium heat and add a little oil.

Pour one ladle of lentil mix onto the pan and spread it out gently into a small pancake size.

Cover the pancake with a lid and cook for a few minutes.

Open the lid, turn the pancake to the other side, and add a little oil around the pancake.

Cover again and cook for a few more minutes.

Check if the pancake is ready by pressing it gently with a ladle and turn it one more time to ensure it is crispy.

Cover for a few seconds, then remove from the pan.
