Greek yogurt reduces calories while maintaining creaminess

Chop up the onion and pepper into small pieces.

Add oil to a pan and heat it up.

Once the oil is hot, add the chopped onion and pepper to soften them.

Add the ground beef to the pan and brown it off with the spices and herbs.

Add 500 ml of passata to the pan, rinsing the carton with a little water (about 50-100 ml).

Add 2 tablespoons of tomato puree to the mixture.

Add the drained tin of kidney beans and mix everything together.

Put the mixture on medium heat (around a 5 on a scale of 9) and simmer for about one hour to reduce the liquid and intensify the flavors.

Optionally, for slow cooking, after browning the onion, pepper, and beef, transfer to a slow cooker and later return to the hob to reduce liquid if needed.
