Oats Methi Khakhra

Cultural Context

Oats Methi Khakhra is a popular Indian snack originating from the western states, particularly Gujarat and Rajasthan. Traditionally, khakhras are made from whole wheat flour and spices, and they are enjoyed as a healthy, crispy snack. The addition of oats and fenugreek leaves not only enhances the flavor but also boosts the nutritional profile, making it a wholesome option for breakfast or tea time. Today, khakhras have gained popularity beyond India, often enjoyed by health-conscious individuals worldwide as a low-calorie snack alternative.
