1

Soak 3 cups of kabuli chana overnight.

2

Drain and rinse the soaked kabuli chana.

3

In a pressure cooker, add the soaked kabuli chana and 3 medium potatoes, cut with a slit to prevent bursting.

4

Add about 2 cups of water and 1 teaspoon of salt to the cooker.

5

Cover the cooker and cook on high flame until it reaches pressure, then reduce to low to medium flame and cook for 8-10 minutes.

6

After 10 minutes, check that the potatoes are whole and not mushy, and the kabuli chana is soft but not broken.

7

Remove the potatoes and let them cool slightly, then cut them into small pieces without mashing.

8

Chop 1 medium onion, 1/2 cup of tomato, 1/2 cup of cucumber, and 3 green chilies finely and set aside.

In a bowl, combine the chopped vegetables and the cut potatoes.
