1/2 cup white mushrooms, sliced
1 cup string beans, trimmed
1 cup carrots, sliced
1 cup napa cabbage, chopped
1/2 cup wood ear mushrooms, sliced
1 cup regular cabbage, chopped
2 cups broccoli florets
1 cup cauliflower florets
1 cup pan-fried tofu, cubed
2 cloves minced garlic
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon potato starch or cornstarch
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon avocado oil
to taste salt

Welcome to cooking with Ling, today we're making Buddha's Delight.

Show the ingredients: eight kinds of vegetables including white mushrooms, string beans, carrots, napa cabbage, wood ear mushrooms, regular cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower.

For protein, use pan-fried tofu. Link to pan-fried tofu method in the description.

Prepare minced garlic and green onions (white part and green part).

Use sesame oil and a slurry made from potato starch or cornstarch mixed with water.

Heat a pan to medium and add avocado oil (or vegetable oil or olive oil).

Sauté minced garlic and the white part of green onions until fragrant.

Add string beans, carrots, napa cabbage, and mushrooms (cauliflower and regular cabbage) to the pan. Stir and add salt.

Add water halfway up the vegetables to steam them, then cover the pan and cook for about five minutes.

After five minutes, add broccoli and wood ear mushrooms, mix, cover again, and cook for another two minutes.

Add the fried tofu and green onions, taste and adjust salt if necessary.

Thicken the mixture with the slurry and finish with sesame oil.
