1 celery stalk
1 medium carrot

1 tbsp butter

4-5 medium potatoes
1.5-2 liters hot water
1 bay leaf
dill or green onion
500g fish (salmon and pompano)
1/2 heavy cream (optional)

Chop 1 medium onion into small pieces.

Slice and chop 1 celery stalk.

Slice and chop 1 small bell pepper (1/2 large).

Add 2-3 minced garlic cloves.

Pour 2 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp butter into a medium-sized saucepan.

Add chopped onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes until soft.

Add chopped celery, carrots, bell pepper, and minced garlic.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cut 1 large tomato into small cubes and add to the pan, or substitute with 1 Tbsp tomato paste.

Stir in the chopped tomato.

Cut 4-5 medium potatoes and add to the pan.

Pour in 1.5-2 liters of hot water and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add 1 bay leaf and some dill or green onion.

Boil without a lid until the potatoes are half cooked.

Add 500g of fish (salmon and pompano) to the pot.

Cook for another 3-4 minutes.

Stir in 1/2 heavy cream (optional).

Let it simmer for 1 minute without boiling.

Let it sit on warm stove for 10 minutes before serving.
