Steak and Potato Casserol! A leftover Makeover Meal!

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Butter a casserole dish with a lid.

Thinly slice the barbecued steak.

Layer the bottom of the casserole dish with the sliced steak.

Slice the red bell pepper into nice big slices and layer them on top of the steak.

Cut the onion in half and slice it, then scatter the onion slices on top of the red pepper.

Slice the peeled russet potatoes as thin as possible and layer them on top of the onion.

Add a layer of grated cheese on top of the potatoes.

Repeat layering with onion, red pepper, potatoes, and cheese until all ingredients are used, ensuring to separate layers with onion and cheese.

Liberally garnish the top with pepper.

Cover the casserole dish and bake in the oven for about 45 minutes.

Remove from the oven and serve.
