1 ½ cups oil, for frying
3 to 4 tbsp. margarine
1/2 cup langka (jackfruit) strips
1 tsp. banana essence
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 cup pineapple juice
2 tbsp. dark rhum
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp. sesame seeds

Peel the saba. Slice the banana into four pieces.

Cut lumpia wrappers into halves then individually wrap each sliced banana.

Heat cooking oil, fry the wrapped banana until brown and crisp. Remove from oil and transfer to a strainer to drain excess oil.

Slice the jackfruit (langka) into strips.

In a pan, melt margarine.

Add langka (jackfruit) strips, cook until become tender. Add 1 tsp. banana essence, stir to combine.

Add cinnamon, pineapple juice, dark rhum and sugar. Stir and mix well until it thickens.

Add fried turon to the syrup and toss until coated and syrup has thickened over the turon. Sprinkle some sesame seeds.

Transfer to a serving plate.
