Baklava

Baklava is a traditional dessert originating from the Ottoman Empire, with deep roots in Balkan and Middle Eastern cuisines. This rich pastry, made of layers of phyllo dough filled with nuts and sweetened with syrup, is often served during celebrations and special occasions. Today, baklava is enjoyed worldwide, with regional variations in ingredients and preparation methods.

3 packets jelly (different flavors)
1 cup water
2 cups milk
1 cup cream
1/2 cup condensed milk
2 tablespoons gelatin
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Boil 1 cup of water in a pan.

Add one packet of jelly to the boiling water and mix until dissolved.

Pour the jelly mixture into a container and let it cool to room temperature.

Refrigerate the jelly for half an hour until set.

In a bowl, add 1/2 cup of normal tap water and 2 tablespoons of gelatin, mix and let it sit until it thickens.

In another pan, add 2 cups of milk and 1 cup of cream, mix and heat without boiling.

Add a little more than 1/2 cup of condensed milk to the milk and cream mixture and mix well.

Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence to the mixture and mix again.

Add the thickened gelatin to the milk mixture and stir until well combined.

Check the jelly to ensure it's set and cut it into small pieces.

In a mold, layer the jelly pieces and then pour the pudding mixture over it.

Cover the mold with cling wrap and refrigerate for 7-8 hours or overnight.

After chilling, remove the dessert from the mold and serve.
