Cook until the edges lift and the bottom is golden, about 2-3 minutes.
Flip the palacinke and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from skillet and place on a plate, covering with a kitchen towel to keep warm.
Repeat with remaining batter, adding more butter to the skillet as needed.
Spread fruit preserves over each palacinke, rolling them up tightly.
Dust with powdered sugar or cocoa powder before serving.
Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with nuts if desired.
