Baklava

500 g Fillo dough
2 sticks of melted butter
1 cup oil
500 g grind walnuts
250 g grind almonds
250 g semolina
250 g grind coco tea biscuits
250 g cane sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
750 g sugar
1 kg water
1 lemon slices
dry cranberries (optional)
raisins (optional)

Take each fillo sheet, cut it in half lengthwise.

Brush it with the butter and oil mixture, fold it in half, and add the filling halfway, forming a triangle.

Put it in your greased baking pan.

Brush the top with the butter mixture.

Preheat your oven to 375°F.

Bake it for 30 minutes or longer until it gets nice golden brown.

Before putting the baklava in the oven, make your simple syrup by boiling sugar and water for 30 minutes with lemon slices, then boil for another five minutes after adding the lemon.

When the baklava is done, pour warm syrup over the hot baklava.
