Salt - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Cooking oil - 1 Tbsp
Dried Red Chili - No. 2-3
Bay leaves - No. 1

Green chilli - No. 2-3
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves

In a bowl take all the dal and wash it well.

Take a pressure cooker; add all washed dal.

Add green chilli, garlic cloves, chopped onion, ginger paste, and salt.

Add turmeric powder, water, and stir well.

Place the lid of the pressure cooker on tightly and wait for 3 whistles.

Carefully take off the lid and check to see if the dal is cooked.

After this, add the dal mixture into the pan and add salt for taste.

In a separate pan add cooking oil, dried red chili, bay leaves, garlic, chopped onion, green chilli, and cumin seeds; mix well.

Sauté for a few minutes and put it in the dal mixture.

Add coriander leaves and mix well.

Ready to serve hot with steamed rice.
