Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat until melted.
Add edible gum and fry until it puffs up and turns golden, about 2-3 minutes.
Remove the fried gum and set aside to cool.
In the same ghee, add whole wheat flour and roast until fragrant and golden, about 5-7 minutes.
Add jaggery to the pan and stir until melted and combined with the flour.
Mix in the fried gum, nuts, dried fruits, and cardamom until well combined.
Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
Grease your hands with ghee and shape the mixture into small balls or laddus.
Allow the laddus to cool completely before serving or storing.
