Tuna Noodle Casserole

2 cups egg noodles
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 can (12 oz) tuna, drained
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Boil pasta or noodles according to package directions.

Melt butter and flour together in a pan and cook for about a minute until fragrant.

Add about a third of the milk to the butter and flour mixture and stir continuously until it thickens.

Add additional milk in stages, stirring until the sauce thickens each time before adding more.

Once thickened, add the can of cream of mushroom soup and mix until uniform.

Finely dice the onion and celery and add them to a bowl.

Check on the pasta and drain it once cooked.

Drain the tuna and add it to the bowl with the pasta.
