While conch is the star, variations may include different seafood or meats, reflecting local preferences and availability.

Clean the lambí (conch) by soaking it in water for an hour to prevent it from getting tough.
Cut a small piece of the lambí to your liking or process it in a food processor for the stew.
In a medium skillet, add a drizzle of oil over medium heat.
Add 1 teaspoon of garlic, onion, peppers, and tomatoes to the skillet.
Stir in 1 tablespoon of tomato paste.
Add 1/4 cup of vinegar to the mixture.
Add 1 teaspoon of oregano and 1/4 teaspoon of honey.
Pour in water as needed and let it cook.
