Combine all the meatball ingredients in a suitable bowl and mix gently for approximately 10 minutes.
Sprinkle flour generously onto a large plate. Form hazelnut-sized meatballs from the mixture, wetting your hands slightly to make rolling easier. Roll the meatballs in the flour until coated evenly.
Heat some oil in a suitable pan. Sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
Add chopped garlic, tomato paste, and graded tomatoes; cook for a short while.
Add chopped carrot, chopped potatoes, and the pre-boiled peas and sauté briefly.
Pour in the hot water.
Carefully add the meatballs to the pan, add salt, black pepper, and fresh thyme for taste and cook them with occasional lid checks for about 30 - 40 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let the stew rest for 25 minutes before serving. Add chopped dill and cilantro when serving.
