450ml warm water
125g butter, melted, mixed with 2 tbsp oil
3 jars (approx. 500g each) sauerkraut, drained

Sift flour into a bowl, make a well, and add salt, vinegar, oil, and water. Knead into a smooth dough, cover, and rest for 30 minutes.

In a saucepan, cook sauerkraut with oil over medium heat until liquid evaporates (10–15 minutes). Set aside.

Divide dough into 8 balls, cover, and rest for 10 minutes.

Roll each ball into a disc, brush with butter-oil mix, and rest for 30 minutes.

Stretch each disc into a thin circle, spread with sauerkraut, drizzle with butter, and roll into a spiral.

Place spirals in a greased round tin. Bake at 180°C (160°C fan) for 30–35 minutes until golden.

Sprinkle with cold water, cover, and rest for 5 minutes. Serve warm with ayran.
