Wash the dried fish and break it into little pieces, removing bones if desired.
Transfer the fish to a saucepan and add a lot of water.
Add salt and black pepper to the saucepan.
Add chopped onions and tomatoes to the saucepan and cover it.
Cook for about 20 minutes.
Add okra and eggplants to the saucepan and cook for another 10 minutes.
In a separate bowl, add hot water to the groundnut paste and mix until smooth, adding more hot water if necessary.
Add the groundnut paste mixture to the sauce while mixing to ensure even distribution.
Let it cook for about 15 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
Serve with your choice of food such as sweet potatoes, cassava, or pocho.
