500 g beef mince
500 g pork mince
1 pinch salt
cracked pepper
2 crushed garlic cloves
0.5 tsp nutmeg
0.5 tsp ground allspice

1 diced brown onion
80 g salted butter

4 cups beef stock
0.5 cup sour cream
half a handful chopped fresh parsley

Combine 500 g of beef mince and 500 g of pork mince in a bowl.

Add 1 pinch of salt, cracked pepper, 2 crushed garlic cloves, 0.5 tsp nutmeg, 0.5 tsp ground allspice, and 2 eggs to the meat mixture.

Mix everything together until well combined.

Roll the mixture into small meatballs.

Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a frying pan.

Add the meatballs to the hot oil and brown them on all sides, shaking the pan every 15 seconds.

Once browned, remove the meatballs and set them aside.

In a pot, add 3 tbsp of vegetable oil and 1 diced brown onion; lightly brown the onions.

Reduce heat to low-medium and add 80 g of salted butter, mixing until melted.

Gradually add 0.5 cup of plain flour while stirring to avoid clumps.

Add 4 cups of beef stock and stir until the sauce thickens.

Once thick, add 0.5 cup of sour cream and mix well.

Add the meatballs and any juices into the sauce and stir to combine.

Cover and let simmer for about 10 minutes.

Add half a handful of chopped fresh parsley before serving.
