In a pan add the jaggery and water and mix till the jaggery dissolves.

Pour the jaggery through a sieve and collect it in another pan.

Add the elaichi powder to this mix and heat again.

Keep stirring till the jaggery reaches a string like consistency.

To test this put a few drops of jaggery in a bowl of water and if the jaggery does not dissolve it has reached the right consistency.

Pour this on top of the mixed farsan and add the chana dal.

Using a spatula mix it the farsan well.

Wet your hands and make the ladoos when it is still hot.
