Instructions
- 1Boil potatoes until tender; peel and mash them.
- 2Finely chop onions and green chilies.
- 3In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, onions, green chilies, and chopped coriander leaves.
- 4Add chickpea flour, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to the mixture.
- 5Mix well until a dough forms; add water as needed to bind.
- 6Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until hot.
- 7Take small portions of the dough and shape them into fritters.
- 8Carefully drop the fritters into the hot oil, frying in batches.
- 9Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
- 10Remove fritters with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 11Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
